THE SCHEDULE FOR THE MEMORIAL RIDE
| Ok, so I made this ride myself the other weekend so that I could
take some pictures and map out the ride. I wanted to make sure
that we didn't stop every 25 miles for gas but more importantly, that we
don't overshoot a gas station and risk running out of gas.
Below is
the route that we are going to take along with the estimated times of
travel for each. When I did this I obviously didn't simulate 30
people getting on and off bikes at every stop so the overall time is
purely guesstimated which means we could be back way before or way after
5 PM so be flexible.
This good thing about this ride is that a majority of the ride will
take place on 3 roads - 60, 88 & 87. We will then hit the 202 and
101 to get from our last stop back to Churchill's.

We will meet at Churchill's Pub & Grill at
9:30 AM and let every one get saddled up.
We will be leaving Churchill's Pub and Grill
promptly at 10:00 AM.

Arrive at the intersection of Dobson &
Palomino and hang out there for a few.
I guess we will probably be there around a half
hour or so.

Once we hit Route 60, we will follow that
for a long way. We will be riding for about 1½ hours where we will stop in
Miami at La Cocina De Casillas Burger House and they do accept credi/debit cards.
This is a small place with decent food and this
is where we always stopped. I expect that we will be here for a good hour,
at least. |

When we get done with lunch we are going to get
back on the 60 and continue on until we get to 188. Once we hit 188 we
will be making a left.

does not pay at the pump, you have to pay inside but they do take credit cards. |

Continue on 87/Country Club Road to 202 West.
Take 202 West to 101 South
Take 101 South to exit 57 toward Elliot Rd and
take a left.
Take a RIGHT onto Alma School Road to
